Ovation Services has launched operations in Dallas providing business and technology consulting services, with its primary focus on helping companies with Oracle and PeopleSoft enterprise applications.

Leading Ovation are Jim Thompson, president, and Greg Gosnell, chief operating officer. Ovation is backed by local investors with long-held experience in technology and consulting.

Ovation is an Oracle Partner with extensive experience in Oracle technology and the complete suite of PeopleSoft applications.

Ovation will provide comprehensive services for the enterprise applications lifecycle related to PeopleSoft HCM, FMS, CRM, SCM and the Oracle products that support them. Services include strategic consulting, business alignment, project execution and outsourced production support.

Gosnell joins Ovation from Animato Technologies, where he was executive vice president and chief operating officer. Before that, he was managing director of BORN Information Services working with JD Edwards and Microsoft solutions. He started his career in consulting at EDS. During his 13 years there, he was promoted to various leadership roles within technology, account management and sales departments across multiple business units.
